Mischa Armada is a marketing and startup veteran, with over 10 years of global marketing experience focusing on consumer-facing companies across a range of industries in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
A hybrid of marketing, creative, and technologist with a passion for storytelling, Mischa has helped create over $5 billion in startup value in the software, consumer internet, retail technology, payments sector, in addition to driving growth for Fortune 500 brands and helping bridge connections in an evolving digital space.
Beginning her career in both corporate and agency settings, she decided to shift gears after being part of the original team that launched Tinder in 2012 and hasn't looked back.
The road less traveled is more fun, right?
Since then, Mischa's focused on startups and early-stage ventures; having gained invaluable experience in the various lifecycles of startup life, in addition to continuous learning and strengthening her capabilities providing more firepower, range, and value to each organization.
Inspired by her near life experiences as a 'digital nomad' and the growing segment of location independent people, Mischa most recently co-founded Stayawhile, a vc-backed hospitality startup originally providing the ability to live in boutique hotels around the world at a subscription (housing-as-a-service).
She continues to explore location independence and how to enable technology to make geography less relevant for a more open, less dependent, and freeing life without all the things that anchor you.
Mischa is from Los Angeles and splits her time between L.A., Asia, and New York. Other wordly pursuits include impulsive trips, tacos, motorbikes (yes!), and hanging out with her dogs Butters and Pablo.
